Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular,
but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.

Counselling and Therapy in Harrow
BA (Hons) B.Ed (Hons), DipHE, MBACP, ACC
Does life feel like it's getting on top of you?
Could you benefit from a place to take some time-out?
- to explore your thoughts and feelings?
- to get back on a front foot again?
My name is Barbara and I work as an Integrative Counsellor, using a range of different therapeutic approaches according to individual needs.
I believe that we all struggle with the difficulties of life at times and need a safe space where issues causing distress can be explored. I provide a non-judgemental, safe, confidential space where clients can explore and address issues that are having an impact on them.
I believe the key to success is based on the client-therapist relationship. As a member of two professional bodies, the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the ACC (Association of Christians in Counselling) I am committed to strict ethical codes and professional standards to ensure the best outcome for my clients.
In addition to counselling, I have had many years of experience working in education and with the NHS.
I work with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I work with a range of issues, including but not limited to:
- stress
- relationships
- panic Attacks
- anxiety
- bereavement
- redundancy
- depression
- addiction
- low self-esteem
- grief, bereavement
- anger management
- sexual abuse.
- trauma
