Sometimes we need someone to simply be there.
Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular,
but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.

Counselling and Therapy in Harrow
BA (Hons) B.Ed (Hons), DipHE, NPQH, MBACP, ACC

Welcome. I'm so glad you are here.

Does life feel like it's getting on top of you right now? you do not have to endure it alone.

Life's challenges can often feel overwhelming, and frightening but finding the right support can make all the difference. As a qualified professional, I am here to help you. I am committed to the idea that therapy should fit the person, not the other way around, to that end we will work together to addresses your specific inidividual goals and needs. I offer a safe, confidential, and empathetic space where you will truly be heard, respected and understood.

My name is Barbara, and I am an Integrative Counsellor, this means that I draw on different counselling approaches (different ways of working in therapy) to tailor support to each person according to their individual needs. I understand that we all face difficulties in life at times and may need a safe space to explore what is causing distress. I offer a non-judgemental, safe, and confidential environment where clients can explore and work through the issues that are having an impact on them.

I recognise that  the key to success is based on the client-therapist relationship. As a member of two professional bodies -the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the ACC (Association of Christians in Counselling) - I am committed to upholding strict ethical and professional standards to ensure the best outcome for my clients. In addition to counselling, I have had many years of experience working in education and with the NHS.
